About Micholyn Brown
Micholyn Brown has been an interior designer in Santa Barbara for more than thirty-five years. She has designed award winning properties in the Pueblo Viejo district of Santa Barbara, renovated a beautiful historic Cliff May ranch house in Montecito, and completed numerous projects of varying scales for many clients. She is actively involved in the details of new construction as well as solutions and changes in major remodel projects. She feels the best projects always reach their full potential when the architecture, interior buildout, furnishings, and landscaping are all treated as a whole in order to achieve a graceful continuity.
Micholyn is known for combining modern and historical elements in her designs. The outcome always being a relaxed elegance that creates a home that is suited to a formal dinner party or a barefoot BBQ.
Micholyn has traveled extensively throughout the world and particularly loves the Mediterranean and Morocco where life is enjoyed in the most simple and relaxed ways with family and friends. This enjoyment of simple pleasures is very evident in her casual and beautiful designs.
